Nicole and Jim

Spending this cloudy Thursday reflecting on a wedding that I was honored to be a part of...

Nicole and her fiancee, Jim, eloped in Pisgah National Forest.  It was one of the sweetest and most touching ceremonies I've ever been a part of.  It was definitely a family affair, with Nicole's father officiating the wedding and all of Nicole's "Moms" helping her get ready. The love in the room was palpable and while I was there to help things run smoothly, I had to take a few moments to just breathe in all of the affection, peace and happiness of that day.

Some weddings are hectic and harried. Some weddings a loud and have a party atmosphere. Some are very serious, bordering on somber. Nicole and Jim's wedding just radiated peace. This is a couple that is just comfortable and at home in each other's arms, and the day just flowed seamlessly.

There was some incredibly talented vendors that helped make Nicole's big day perfect.

The bride wore a stunning dress and veil from Wildflower Bridal. Nicole is a model, and always looks beautiful, but she seriously looked like she could grace the pages of a magazine.

Her updo and makeup was perfection, done by Flawless Asheville

Her cake was made by Verbena Cakes and Catering, and it was not only gorgeous but delicious!!! Just sidenote FYI, their gluten free cakes are the best in the biz (some of us are gluten afflicted and that is a big deal in our worlds).

Flowers and the bouquet came from Flowers: Blue Ridge Blooms and they were perfect, pulling together Nicole's colors perfectly.

The photographer for the wedding was one of personal favorites, Briana Autran. Her style is so very beautiful and she captures the moments perfectly. Check out the pictures below.

The best feeling in the world is pulling off a wedding where everyone walks away feeling harmonious and when everyone works together. This wedding was the epitome of that.

Congrats Nic and Jim! Big Love to you both!
